Capital One (Europe) plc is seeking a Finance (FP&A) Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Nottingham. The role offers a hybrid work pattern: three in-office days (Tuesday-Thursday) and two remote days, with the Nottingham office providing on-site facilities.

You will produce executive reporting, partner with US teams, and support monthly and quarterly financials while driving process improvements within the FP&A function.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of P&L, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive delivery mindset.
• Ability to analyse variance and explain financial stories clearly.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and simplify financial and non-financial data.
• Support Month End reporting and feed into MFR meetings.
• Assist delivery of Quarterly Financial reviews and monthly/quarterly tasks.
• Handle ad hoc reporting requests from leadership.
• Develop reports to monitor performance against targets and budgets.
