Job summary

YMCA Fairthorne Group Andover Nursery is seeking Early Years Practitioners to support children through play-based learning in a caring, nurturing environment.

Full-time roles offer 40 hours over four days, with three days off weekly; part-time roles up to 30 hours on a flexible rota from Monday to Friday. We welcome applicants with Level 2 or Level 3 EY qualifications or those studying towards one.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 EY qualification, working towards one, or transferable experience.
• Be caring, patient, dependable and enthusiastic about helping children thrive.
• Commitment to inclusive, play-based learning and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Build warm and secure relationships with children.
• Support children’s confidence, independence and emotional development.
• Create engaging learning opportunities through play.
• Follow children’s interests and observations to support next steps.
