Job summary

YMCA Fairthorne Group Andover nursery is seeking both full-time and part-time Early Years Practitioners to help children learn through play-based learning.

You'll build warm, secure relationships with children, support their confidence and independence, and follow the EYFS framework through observations and records while working across a dynamic, caring team in a bright, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner or working towards one.
• Caring, patient, dependable and enthusiastic about helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Build warm and secure relationships with children.
• Support children’s confidence, independence and emotional development.
• Create engaging opportunities to learn through play and observations.
• Follow the EYFS framework and complete observations and records.
• Work closely with colleagues and maintain a safe, welcoming nursery.
