Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions Ltd. in Birmingham is seeking a founding Registered Manager for a brand-new children's home in Sheldon, supporting up to three young people with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The role offers a competitive salary of £55,000–£60,000 plus an OFSTED bonus and the chance to shape culture from day one in a therapeutic environment. You will lead registration, recruitment, mobilisation, and occupancy, building your own team and setting

Qualifications

Previous success within children's residential care.
Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.
Experience supporting children with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities.
Leadership experience at Deputy or Registered Manager level.
A passion for achieving exceptional outcomes for children.
Confidence developing teams and driving service quality.
Experience contributing towards or achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead the home through registration, recruitment, mobilisation and occupancy.
Build your team, implement high standards from day one, and create a culture centred on positive outcomes for children.
Work with the Responsible Individual to set the service strategy and drive quality.
