Job summary

Partner company in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on founding GTM leader to build the go-to-market and revenue function from the ground up. You will work directly with the founder to shape outbound strategy, generate pipeline, and close early customers.

Role involves selling innovative legal services to senior decision-makers, including General Counsels, CFOs, and investment fund leaders, with significant autonomy to influence commercial strategy from day one.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in business development, sales, or go-to-market roles.
• Demonstrated 0-to-1 go-to-market experience as a senior individual contributor.
• Proven ability to build outbound pipelines and close early-stage deals in an unstructured startup environment.
• Strong consultative selling experience with senior decision-makers (GCs, CFOs, investment fund leadership).
• Ability to manage the entire sales process independently, from prospecting to closing.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating structure where none exists.

Responsibilities

• Build the go-to-market and revenue function from scratch in collaboration with the founder.
• Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify and engage prospective customers.
• Create and manage a qualified sales pipeline from prospecting through closing.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations with senior stakeholders and present relevant solutions.
• Own the full sales cycle including outreach, relationships, negotiations, and closing.
• Develop the initial sales playbook, processes, and repeatable approaches for future growth.
• Provide market feedback to shape the company’s go-to-market strategy.
