Job summary

Everlast Gyms is opening a brand-new club in Croydon. As General Manager, you will lead the opening from day one, build and coach the team, and set the standard for member experience.

You will drive membership growth, manage operations and sales, and ensure exceptional service. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for health and fitness in a dynamic, ambitious culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year's management experience in the fitness industry.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Member-first mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and drive to deliver results.
• Resilience and a positive, solutions-driven approach.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Passion for health, fitness and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and elevate a high-performing team with regular feedback.
• Drive membership growth and revenue streams.
• Deliver exceptional member experiences on the gym floor and reception.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly operational processes are executed to a high standard.
• Maintain outstanding cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.
• Engage with campaigns and motivate the team.
• Address challenges with resilience and agile problem-solving.
• Oversee compliance and safety policies including Health & Safety and pool operations.
