Job summary

Dex in London is building an AI-native data platform and is hiring the first dedicated data engineer to own the data foundation end-to-end. You’ll shape data models, pipelines and a self-serve layer used by product, growth, ops and our agents.

Qualifications

• Built the data foundation for a consumer marketplace at scale.
• Can read and modify existing code to extract business signals.
• Experience turning questions into trusted data models.

Responsibilities

• Own core data modelling across the Dex data foundation.
• Model data at the source inside product/engineering code.
• Build and maintain pipelines connecting systems.
• Make the data platform self-serve for teams and agents.
• Treat agents as first-class data consumers.
• Define metrics from acquisition to matching quality.
• Turn business questions into clear data models.
• Set standards for data quality and instrumentation.
