Dexory is hiring its first company-wide data leader to build a trusted data foundation that unifies sources and defines core metrics. You will own architecture, data models, and the business definitions that ensure consistent reporting and AI readiness.

This is a hands-on senior role, starting as a solo engineer with a clear path to expand the function. You will work closely with engineering, platform and perception teams, delivering early wins while establishing standards and a scalable data/AI

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a senior data or analytics engineer with ownership of architecture and source-of-truth decisions.
• Strong hands-on data skills including fluent SQL, data modelling and a modern data stack (Databricks, dbt, Python).
• Experience with AI automation tooling (LLMs/agents) to integrate systems and enable natural-language querying.
• Proven track record in integrating multiple operational and commercial/SaaS systems (Databricks, HubSpot, Pendo, Grafana).
• Excellent communication to align non-technical stakeholders on definitions and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build the data foundation by unifying operational, product, commercial and contractual data into a single, queryable layer.
• Embed data security as a core design principle across architecture and engineering work.
• Model performance, perception accuracy, and SLA/KPI alignment to make site metrics trustworthy.
• Define metrics and business definitions to standardise terminology for AI and reporting.
• Lead data and AI automation initiatives while shaping the early team and function.
