Job summary

West Herts College is seeking term-time Learning Support Assistants for the Foundation Studies team. The role supports delivery of personalised learning opportunities for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities at Watford.

You will work 21 hours per week across 34 weeks per year, on-site, with a pro rata annual salary of £12,130.35. The position is permanent and requires flexibility and teamwork to assist learners throughout College life.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners who have diverse special learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Foundation Studies to learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
• Assist with preparation and monitoring of individual learning plans and EHCPs.
• Support teachers in class and manage learner assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to tracking learner progress.
