West Herts College is seeking an hourly paid lecturer for the Foundation Studies team at the Watford Campus. The role focuses on delivering sessions that support learners with Special Educational Needs and the requirements of relevant awarding bodies from pre-entry to Entry level 3.

The post requires flexible, well-organised teaching capable of removing barriers to learning and maintaining accurate records across college systems.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching foundation studies and SEN understanding preferred.
• Ability to create and develop learning opportunities for diverse learners.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Foundation Studies sessions to meet learners’ needs.
• Plan and adapt sessions to reflect SEND reforms and Code of Practice in FE.
• Support learners to achieve their EHCP outcomes and develop skills.
