Job summary

Foundation Learning Lecturer - SEND role based in East London. This part-time, temporary post starts September 2026 and involves delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to Pre-Entry SEND learners and supporting their communication, independence and progression.

• Essential: Full Level 5 teaching qualification - PGCE, Cert Ed or DET.
• Experience teaching SEND learners, particularly autism, learning difficulties and/or complex needs.
• Experience working with Pre-Entry/low-level learners.
• Understanding of EHCPs and person-centred approaches.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A patient, flexible and learner-focused approach.

Are you an experienced Foundation Learning, SEN/SEND Lecturer or Tutor looking for a new opportunity?

We are recruiting for a part-time temporary Foundation Learning Lecturer working with Pre-Entry SEND learners, supporting their communication, independence, personal development and progression.

The Role
