Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd., on behalf of Tyne Coast College, is recruiting a Foundation Learning Lecturer to support learners in developing essential life, employability, digital, literacy and numeracy skills within a supportive Further Education environment.

You will teach across Foundation Learning programmes, including Level 1 IT (NOCN), Preparing for Adulthood & Employability Skills, and Functional Skills English and Maths (Entry Level).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering education within Further Education, Foundation Learning or Functional Skills settings.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Level 2 English and Maths qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support learners across Foundation Learning programmes.
• Deliver engaging, inclusive and learner-centred lessons.
• Plan, assess and track learner progress effectively.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and wider college teams to ensure learner success.
