Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking a Team Manager in Buckinghamshire to lead the Fostering Recruitment & Support Team. You will drive recruitment of foster carers and ensure robust support systems for safe, nurturing homes for children.

The role requires a Qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering or children’s social care, strong safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication to collaborate with partners. 37 hours per week, full-time and £42 per hour.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering or children’s social care.
• Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
• Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills.
• Strong communication and partnership working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fostering Recruitment & Support Team.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for foster carers.
• Oversee assessment and approval process for prospective carers.
• Ensure high-quality supervision, guidance and support to carers.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve outcomes.
