Job summary

Tripod Partners seeks a Team Manager to lead the Fostering Recruitment & Support Team in Buckinghamshire. You will drive recruitment, oversee assessments, and ensure high-quality supervision for foster carers to provide safe, stable homes for children.

The role requires experienced social work leadership, fostering knowledge, and strong collaboration with partners. Full-time, £42 per hour, 37 hours weekly in Aylesbury.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with registration (Social Work England)
• Experience in fostering or children’s social care is essential
• Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding procedures
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
• Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fostering Recruitment & Support Team
• Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain foster carers
• Oversee the assessment and approval process for prospective carers
• Ensure high-quality supervision, guidance and support for foster carers
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve outcomes
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
