Tripod Partners in Slough is seeking a Fostering Practice Manager to lead the recruitment strategy and expand the pool of local foster carers. The role combines leadership with relationship-building to attract prospective carers and support children in care.

You will supervise assessing social workers, collaborate with marketing and recruitment colleagues, and help the service meet recruitment targets while delivering positive outcomes for children in Slough.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the fostering recruitment function, helping to deliver ambitious recruitment targets.
• Build and maintain effective external networks and partnerships to raise awareness of fostering opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and recruitment colleagues to develop creative, engaging and effective recruitment initiatives.
• Supervise, support and develop assessing social workers, promoting high standards of practice and professional development.
• Contribute to the development of a strong local fostering offer that meets the needs of children and young people.
• Promote a child-centred, relationship-based approach that recognises the rewards and challenges of fostering.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, strengthen the service and increase the number of competent, well-prepared local foster carers.
