Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to help customers evaluate, adopt, and deploy AI technologies that define the next generation of intelligent enterprise systems. You will work with customers to identify opportunities, assess technologies, and transform innovations into secure, scalable AI solutions.

The role requires expert knowledge in AI architectures, cloud-native engineering, and enterprise software development, with a focus on forward deployment and measurable business

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience delivering AI solutions in customer-facing roles.
• Experience evaluating emerging tech and turning research into production solutions.
• Strong expertise in AI architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise software.
• Knowledge across quantum, photonic, AI infrastructure and next-gen architectures.
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD, MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify opportunities and define roadmaps.
• Assess environments to find business value from AI and computing tech.
• Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI solutions and PoVs.
• Evaluate emerging tech and recommend optimal solutions.
• Translate research into practical enterprise architectures and deployments.
• Ensure security, scalability, and governance of solutions.
