Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to help customers evaluate, adopt, and deploy AI technologies that define the next generation of intelligent enterprise systems. You will work with customers to identify opportunities, assess technologies, and transform innovations into secure, scalable AI solutions.

The role requires expert knowledge in AI architectures, cloud-native engineering, and enterprise software development, with a focus on forward deployment and measurable business

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience delivering AI solutions in customer-facing roles.
• Experience evaluating emerging tech and turning research into production solutions.
• Strong expertise in AI architectures, distributed systems, and enterprise software.
• Knowledge across quantum, photonic, AI infrastructure and next-gen architectures.
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD, MLOps.

You will work directly with customers to identify strategic opportunities, assess emerging technologies, and transform cutting-edge innovations into secure, scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering innovative AI solutions in customer‑facing engineering, architecture, research, or Forward Deployment Engineering roles.
• Proven experience evaluating emerging technologies and translating research into production‑ready enterprise solutions.
• Strong expertise in AI architectures, distributed systems, cloud‑native engineering, and enterprise software development.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn, evaluate, prototype, and industrialize emerging technologies.
• Broad knowledge across quantum computing, photonic computing, AI infrastructure, advanced networking, and next‑generation enterprise architectures.
• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, cloud‑native platforms, CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps, infrastructure automation, and secure‑by‑design engineering.
• Proven ability to leverage AI‑assisted development, intelligent coding agents, and automation to accelerate delivery.
• Excellent consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
