Job summary

Unknown Forward Deployed Engineer, Platform, embeds directly with product development teams and customer organisations to understand real problems, design real solutions, and own the outcome. You are a force multiplier for developer velocity and platform adoption, working at the sharp end, in the code, unblocking teams and building the patterns and tooling that make platform adoption effortless.

This is a high-agency role for a hands-on senior engineer who thrives in ambiguity and moves fast,

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience across the stack.
Experience with production AI systems or cloud-native platforms is required.
Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Embed with product teams and customer engineering to maximise velocity and reduce GTM timelines.
Lead technical discovery; identify bottlenecks and design production-grade platform solutions.
Build and ship event-driven patterns on the company Cloud platform and data pipelines.
Identify platform friction and drive adoption of Kairos and Nexus.
Collaborate with NGA architecture team on IDP requirements.
Translate pain points into actionable platform feedback and roadmap input.
Work with customer architects and IT leaders, communicating trade-offs clearly.
Be the connective tissue between R&D and platform users to guide next builds.
