Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer to own end-to-end customer deployments and shape how the AI platform is deployed across enterprise environments. You will define standards, tooling, and processes to scale deployments and collaborate across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

You will lead architecture conversations, manage lifecycle of deployments, and develop runbooks and automation to ensure reliable operations for enterprise

Qualifications

• 4+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering or solutions architecture with customer deployments.
• Experience deploying in enterprise environments with security reviews and change management.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment architecture conversations and execution across customer environments.
• Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle for key customers: deployment, upgrades, scaling, incident support.
• Develop and maintain deployment runbooks, upgrade procedures, and automation tooling.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure deployability and operability across requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales/Customer Success to scope infra requirements during pre-sales/onboarding.
• Communicate with platform engineers, security, and DevOps teams to align constraints and compliance.
• Focus on upgrades, rollbacks, monitoring, and failure modes from planning through execution.
