Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in its Cloud Consulting group to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality at customer sites. You will embed with accounts and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly within the customer environment, addressing integration, data readiness, and state-management blockers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 5 years of Python or similar software development experience.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures for enterprise AI.
• Experience taking AI solutions from conception to production on cloud platforms.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex AI applications, moving prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Connect AI products to customer live infrastructure via APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repetitive field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or product feature requests.
• Co-build with pre-sales and product teams to instill development best practices.
