Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a high-performing team of technical experts who translate Cloudflare’s ecosystem into business value for customers.

You will partner with sales to grow developer revenue, bridging technical sales with product engineering to shape strategic opportunities and the product roadmap based on customer usage and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications

• Candidates must submit a resume/CV detailing their experience with team leadership and technical architecture.
• 7+ years in technical sales of cloud computing, storage, or full-stack engineering.
• Industry certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Architect.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Solution Architects to deliver customer-focused technical value.
• Partner with sales leadership to grow developer revenue and support strategic opportunities.
• Bridge technical sales and product engineering to feed the product roadmap with customer feedback.
• Develop and execute long-term technical sales strategy with regional leaders to drive pipeline and revenue.
• Mentor and grow a team of Solution Architects as trusted technical advisors.
• Collaborate with executive, product, and marketing leaders to align goals and customer stories.
• Manage annual budget and allocate resources to meet customer needs and business goals.
• Support executive engagement with strategic customer accounts.
• Oversee creation of feedback loops to refine Cloudflare's product evolution.
