PagerDuty is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (SRE Agent) to join our customer-focused SRE Agent team in London. You will work on-site with 2–4 strategic customer teams, connecting the SRE Agent to production environments and guiding teams from AI-assisted to autonomous actions with guardrails.

This Staff Engineer role requires hands-on experience shipping LLM/agent systems to production, customer-facing design sessions, and strong delivery discipline.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production software experience across teams.
• Hands-on with LLM/agent systems in production.
• Customer-facing design sessions with engineers and leadership.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
• Track record shipping software that gets adopted.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi at scale and GitOps.
• Willing to travel 25–50% during active engagements.

Responsibilities

• Embed and drive SRE Agent adoption with 2–4 strategic teams.
• Build reusable agent tools, connectors, and skills.
• Run pilots, identify blockers, deliver production fixes.
• Integrate with IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, observability stacks.
• Define 3–6 month technical roadmaps for accounts.
• Provide architectural guidance to product and engineering managers.
