Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions inside customer environments. You will implement multi-agent orchestration, data grounding, and tool execution across complex workflows, with a focus on real-time systems and integration to core ERPs.

You will work with Deployment Strategists and AI Engineers in an agile pod, writing production code, tuning prompts, and delivering end-to-end AI-enabled workflows for Salesforce

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or technical delivery with at least one production AI or data integration project.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on AI grounding with LLM orchestration and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with API design (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and agent protocols.
• Process orchestration and API-led connectivity using MuleSoft or custom middleware.
• Strong data modeling and asynchronous messaging knowledge.
• Ability to whiteboard architecture with enterprise CTOs/VPs while coding.
• Familiarity with automation platforms and enterprise AI tools.
• Experience with Workday, Coupa, Jira, Slack and deployment infra including Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Knowledge of data governance and master data systems; understanding enterprise security and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Write production code and architect real-time data grounding systems for enterprise AI.
• Design and deploy multi‑agent orchestration and tool‑calling logic.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integration pipelines to data clouds and ERPs.
• Implement agent communication protocols and telemetry dashboards.
• Collaborate with Salesforce product teams and deploy in customer environments.
• Travel 25–30% for on-site deployments with enterprise accounts.
