Job summary

Wanstor is seeking a Network Architect to lead secure, resilient networking projects and shape customer solutions. You will escort ideas from initial conversations through design and hands-on delivery, with opportunities to broaden Fortinet, SD-WAN and related technologies.

As a senior member of the Networking team, you will influence technical decisions, support presales, and guide fellow engineers while enjoying a flexible, hybrid work setup with occasional customer-site or London office

Qualifications

• Strong networking experience across LAN/WAN/wireless and network security.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or Sophos) and willingness to develop FortiGate expertise.
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments.
• Hands-on design, implementation and problem-solving capability.
• Experience leading or owning complex networking projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships.
• Interest in modern networking technologies including SD-WAN and security.

Want to build your expertise in Fortinet while taking the lead on exciting network projects? Join Wanstor as a Network Architect and help shape secure, resilient networks for a diverse range of customers.

You’ll take your ideas from initial customer conversations through to design and hands-on delivery, with the opportunity to develop your skills across FortiGate, SD-WAN and wider networking technologies. If you’ve built your experience with other enterprise firewall platforms, we’re keen to hear from you.

As a senior member of our growing Networking team, you’ll influence technical decisions, contribute to presales opportunities and guide fellow engineers—combining the freedom to make an impact with opportunities to keep learning.

At Wanstor we encourage flexible working, this role can be largely home based for right candidate. There may be the occasional requirement to visit a customer site or work from our office in London Bridge.

What You’ll Do

• Design secure, scalable and resilient network solutions across customer and internal environments.

What You’ll Need

• Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, wireless and network security technologies.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or Sophos, with a willingness to develop expertise in FortiGate.
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments.
• A hands-on approach, with the ability to move between design, implementation and technical problem solving.
• Experience leading or owning complex networking projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• An interest in modern networking technologies, including SD-WAN and network security.
