Job summary

Wanstor is seeking a Network Architect to lead secure, scalable network projects and advance Fortinet expertise for a diverse customer base. The role is largely home-based with occasional customer site visits or office days in London Bridge.

You will design LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and wireless solutions, produce detailed designs and documentation, and act as the senior technical lead throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, wireless and security technologies.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or Sophos) with willingness to develop FortiGate expertise.
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments.
• Hands-on approach across design, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading or owning complex networking projects.

What You’ll Do

• Research emerging technologies and help shape the future direction of the networking practice.

What You’ll Need

• Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, wireless and network security technologies.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or Sophos, with a willingness to develop expertise in FortiGate.
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments.
• A hands‑on approach, with the ability to move between design, implementation and technical problem solving.
