Job summary

Wanstor Limited is seeking a Network Architect in London to lead Fortinet-based designs for diverse customers. The role is hybrid with potential home-based work and occasional office visits to London Bridge.

You’ll take customer conversations through to design and hands-on delivery, shaping secure, scalable networks across LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions within our Networking team.

Qualifications

• Strong networking experience across LAN, WAN, wireless and network security technologies.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or Sophos; willing to develop FortiGate expertise.
• Experience designing and delivering network solutions within customer environments.
• Hands-on with design, implementation and problem solving.
• Experience leading or owning complex networking projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers and colleagues.
• Interest in SD-WAN and modern network security.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable and resilient network solutions across customer and internal environments.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex networking projects.
• Produce high and low-level designs, technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Act as a senior technical lead throughout project delivery, ensuring solutions are delivered to a high standard.
• Design, implement and optimise LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and wireless networking solutions.
• Work with technologies including Fortinet and other leading networking vendors.
• Contribute to network security, resilience and performance improvements across customer and hosted environments.
• Research emerging technologies and help shape the future direction of the networking practice.

Want to build your expertise in Fortinet while taking the lead on exciting network projects? Join Wanstor as a Network Architect and help shape secure, resilient networks for a diverse range of customers.

You’ll take your ideas from initial customer conversations through to design and hands‑on delivery, with the opportunity to develop your skills across FortiGate, SD‑WAN and wider networking technologies. If you’ve built your experience with other enterprise firewall platforms, we’re keen to hear from you.

As a senior member of our growing Networking team, you’ll influence technical decisions, contribute to presales opportunities and guide fellow engineers—combining the freedom to make an impact with opportunities to keep learning.

At Wanstor we encourage flexible working, this role can be largely home based for right candidate. There may be the occasional requirement to visit a customer site or work from our office in London Bridge.
