Lola Cars, based at Silverstone, is seeking a Trackside IT Support Engineer to join our Formula E team. You will ensure trackside and factory IT systems operate reliably during race and test events and provide hands-on support across equipment, networks, and software.

Responsibilities include deploying event IT infrastructure, configuring workstations, supporting data analysis tools, and maintaining security.

Qualifikationen

• A relevant IT, computing, networking, or systems-support qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
• End-user IT support experience in fast-paced, event-based environments.
• Familiarity with Windows devices, networking, and security practices.

Aufgaben

• Provide first-line IT support for the Lola Formula E team at the Silverstone facility and events.
• Configure and test event IT infrastructure including networks, cabling, and backup links.
• Set up laptops, engineering workstations, displays, printers, and other user equipment.
• Support software and data access used by engineering and performance groups.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, accounts, and connectivity with priority for safety-critical events.
• Monitor service availability and coordinate with suppliers for fault resolution.
• Maintain security, accounts, and endpoint protection according to Lola policies.
• Document changes, incidents, and post-event reviews for reliability improvements.
