Job summary

Lola Cars is seeking an experienced Formula E #1 Mechanic to join our Silverstone facility. You will lead the preparation, build, inspection, servicing and repair of Lola Formula E race cars for test and race events, under the Chief Mechanic and with engineers and trackside staff.

Based in Silverstone, you will play a key role in reliability, performance and safe operation, contributing to meticulous build records and continuous improvement in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical or motorsport qualification or commensurate practical experience.
• Previous work in a professional motorsport workshop is desirable.
• Experience with high-voltage powertrains is advantageous.
• Proven ability to follow technical instructions and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical prep, build, inspection, servicing, and repair for Lola Formula E cars.
• Work under the Chief Mechanic and with engineers during tests and races.
• Maintain safety, quality, and traceability of build records.
• Support pit-lane operations and event readiness.
