Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains offers an award-winning Advanced Apprenticeship Programme based at our Northamptonshire R&D Centre. You will learn to assemble and disassemble precision components while achieving a Level 4 Advanced Apprenticeship, with mentoring and a 42 month development plan across F1 engineering.

Your scheme starts September 2027, with an assessment centre in March 2027. The package includes a starting salary of £21,000, performance and podium bonuses, 36 days annual

Qualifications

• Practical experience assembling components in engineering environments.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, accountability and initiative within a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engine and hybrid system components into sub-assemblies and power units.
• Disassemble power unit components to support investigations.
• Maintain high quality standards and adhere to SOPs for assembly processes.
