Job summary

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in the UK offers an Assembly/Build Apprentice role as part of an award-winning Advanced Apprenticeship Programme. You will learn to assemble and disassemble precision components within a fast-paced environment, contributing to high-quality power units for F1 racing and allied teams.

The 42-month development plan provides exposure to engineering breadth, mentoring, and a pathway to a Level 4 Advanced Apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of assembling components, including mechanical and electrical principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble engine and ERS components into sub-assemblies and power units.
• Disassemble power unit components to support failure investigations.
• Ensure all assembled components meet specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with Quality and Engineering to optimise product development.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for assembly processes.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.
