Job summary

TipTopJob in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mechanical Workshop Engineer (Technician) based at a client’s distribution site to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on a fleet of forklift trucks.

You will join a highly successful, international manufacturer offering full training. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a pension, 25 days' holiday, life assurance, uniform and PPE provided, plus subsidised canteen and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience on forklifts or similar plant equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Willing to work at a client’s distribution site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PDIs, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks at a client’s distribution centre.
• Work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment.
