Job summary

Luton Bennett in Bolton is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Working on Forklifts) to service and repair a range of forklift trucks in a busy workshop.

The role offers a UK market salary of £31,000–£36,000 DOE, with a 6% employer pension, 4% employee pension, overtime, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, discount scheme, and uniform. Hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with progression to Team Leader, Field Engineer or Sales Engineer roles.

Qualifications

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PDI’s, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks.
• Work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment.
• Order spares when necessary.
• Overtime.

Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering excellent training.

The Vehicle Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable.

You’ll form part of a highly skilled team in a very reputable business. You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklifts.

Progression to roles such as Team Leader, Field Engineer and Sales Engineer roles are regularly available.
