Job summary

Pall-Ex is seeking an FLT Driver for the night shift based at Pall-Ex House, Ellistown, Leicestershire. The role runs Monday to Friday, 21:30–06:00, 40 hours per week, with a starting salary of £32,217.41 per year.

There are 6 positions available and a focus on safe loading, unloading, and accurate picking within a busy warehouse. You will operate standard FLT counter-balance equipment, perform routine checks, and adhere to health and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid FLT counter-balance license (essential).
• Experience with pallet networks is advantageous.
• Experience using scanning equipment is preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong health and safety practices are required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload goods and stack pallets.
• Ensure loads are secure and pallets are stacked correctly.
• Perform daily equipment checks and keep workspace clean and compliant with HSE policies.
• Carry out accurate picking and, when required, work outdoors on an ad hoc basis.

About he role:

The duties will include safe loading and unloading of goods, stacking goods, checking loads are secure, stacking empty pallets, accurate picking and performing daily equipment checks. Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy is paramount along with adhering to our strict health and safety policies. There is a requirement to work outside on an ad hoc basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hold a valid FLT counter-balance license (essential)
• Previous pallet network experience would be an advantage
• Experience in using scanning equipment
• Attention to detail especially with regard to Health and Safety practices
• Good communication skills
• Team player
