Job summary

TRC Yorkshire in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for their night shift team. You will work with up to 40 FLT drivers in a fast-paced warehouse, performing loading/unloading and stock movement while following safety procedures.

In-house refresher courses are funded if needed. The role is temp to perm, with start times from 18:00 to 21:00 and finishes around 03:30 to 07:00, depending on the shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years FLT experience, loading and unloading double-decker trailers.
• Accredited counterbalance licence or willing to refresher course.
• Candidates with pallet network experience are desirable.

Job description

Our client, a reputable 3PL company located in Wolverhampton, is currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their night shift team.

Pay Rate: £15.12 per hour.

Job Type: Temp to perm.

Hours: Monday to Friday. Start times available from 18:00-21:00, with finish times between 03:30-07:00 with 2 X 20-minute breaks.

Overview

You will be working alongside a team of up to 40 other FLT drivers in a fast-paced logistics environment. In-house and out-of-date licences are accepted, provided candidates are willing to complete a funded refresher course on‑site.

The Role

• Loading/unloading straight frame and double‑decker trailers.
• Solely operating an FLT entire shift.
• responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles, organising stock, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations during the night shift.
• safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse environment
• Ensure all safety checks are completed on a forklift truck and relevant documentation is completed at the start of your shift.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements
