Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is assisting a reputable 3PL based in Wolverhampton in finding an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for night shifts. The role is a temp-to-perm position paying £15.12 per hour, with start times from 18:00–21:00 and finishes from 03:30–07:00, including two 20-minute breaks.

You will join a team of up to 30 FLT drivers, handling loading/unloading and stock organisation while following safety and documentation procedures. On-site refresher training can be funded if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years FLT experience.
• Counterbalance licence or willing to take refresher on-site.
• Pallet network experience desirable.
• Good communication with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload straight frame and double-decker trailers.
• Operate an FLT for the entire shift.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, organise stock, and ensure smooth night-shift operations.
• Safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse.
• Complete safety checks on forklifts and document at shift start.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Our client, a reputable 3PL company located in Wolverhampton, is currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their night shift team.

Pay Rate:£15.12 per hour.

Job Type:Temp to perm.

Hours:Monday to Friday. Start times available from 18:00-21:00, with finish times between 03:30-07:00 with 2 X 20-minute breaks.

Overview:

You will be working alongside a team of up to 30 other FLT drivers in a fast-paced logistics environment. In-house and out-of-date licences are accepted, provided candidates are willing to complete a funded refresher course on-site.

The Role:

• Loading/unloading straight frame anddouble-decker trailers.
• Solely operating an FLT entire shift.
• responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles, organising stock, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations during the night shift.
• safely and efficiently move goods within the warehouse environment
• Ensure all safety checks are completed on a forklift truck and relevant documentation is completed at the start of your shift.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years FLT experience.
• Accredited counterbalance license or happy to take a refresher course if needed.
• Candidates with existing pallet network experience are desirable.
