Job summary

Muntons is seeking a reliable forklift driver to join our Logistics team at Stowmarket. You will be responsible for storage, assembly and despatch of palletised Muntons Ingredients, ensuring accurate despatch paperwork and safe operation.

The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision, follow all safety rules and collaborate with production and warehouse colleagues. We offer training, a competitive salary and a range of benefits including pension and health plans.

Qualifications

• Proficient forklift truck operation.
• Shunter driving experience preferred.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of meeting physical demands.
• Reliable and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders and complete despatch paperwork.
• Check incoming finished goods from production.

The Role…

In this role you will be part of the Logistics team responsible for the storage, assembly and despatch of palletised products.

• To assemble customer orders and accurate completion of despatch paperwork

• Check incoming finished goods from the production area

• Loading vehicles ensuring that Hazard and Critical Control Point controls are strictly adhered to

• To work flexibly and respond to the changing demands of the work

• Housekeeping and cleanliness of storage areas to be maintained to high standards, maximising the storage space available

• Shifts are 6-2 and 2-10, Monday to Friday

• Be a competent forklift truck driver

• Be a competent shunter driver - preferred (training can be provided)

• Be self-confident and able to work with minimum supervision

• Be able to work as part of a team
