Job summary

Manpower is seeking an FLT Driver for rotating shifts (08:00–16:00 and 16:00–00:00) at a beverage-sector site in Burton upon Trent. You will operate forklift trucks to load/unload HGVs and containers, move stock, and support picking, put-away and daily checks.

Role emphasizes health & safety, 5S housekeeping, and collaboration with Production and Warehouse teams. In-house FLT licence accepted; prior FLT experience required. Weekly pay and overtime after 8 hours.

Job description

Shifts: Monday - Friday 0800-1600 and 1600-0000 (Rotating shifts)

The FLT Driver will be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks to move stock, load and unload vehicles, and support warehouse operations during the shift. The role requires working safely, following warehouse procedures, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and accuracy.

What you'll be doing:

• Operating an FLT to load and unload HGVs and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Move stock around the warehouse
• Complete picking and put-away tasks
• Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks
• Use warehouse systems including scanners and EWM
• Follow Health & Safety and site procedures at all times
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and follow 5S principles
• Work closely with the Production and Warehouse teams
• Support continuous improvement activities across site

What you'll bring

• Valid FLT licence - in house training certificates are accepted
• Previous FLT experience

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
