Qualifications

• Proven work experience in Goods Inwards/Warehouse or Yard.
• A valid Forklift truck licence.
• GCSE level or similar vocational qualification.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Off-load delivered goods using Forklift Truck or other handling equipment.
• Perform checks to match delivery with notes and purchase orders.
• Assist in packing/shipping for sub-contract operations.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Move stock around yard and buildings as needed.
• Inspect goods using drawings and specs and reject non-conforming items in ERP.
• Record stock transfers in Epicor and assist counts.
• Receipt deliveries in real time in ERP.
• Support control of consignment stocks/Vendor Managed inventory.
• Report health and safety concerns to Procurement Manager/Goods Inwards Controller.
• Maintain tidy, safe Goods Inwards area and participate in improvement projects.
