Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in Grantham is seeking a Resident Engineer to service, maintain and repair material handling equipment at customer sites, including electric trucks and pallet trucks. You will manage your own work in progress, complete paperwork accurately and participate in ongoing training to keep up-to-date on equipment technology.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 and hands-on experience with engines, electrics and hydraulics.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 essential for the role.
• Technical experience in engines, electrics and/or hydraulics.
• IT literate and comfortable with using the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair material handling equipment at the customer's site.
• Work with a range of trucks from pallet trucks to IC and automated trucks.
• Diagnose faults and undertake preventative maintenance.
• Attend regular training to stay up-to-date with equipment.
