Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in Grantham is seeking a Resident Engineer to service, repair and maintain material handling equipment at customer sites. You will work on electric trucks and a range of forklifts, managing your own workload and completing paperwork diligently.

The role offers opportunities for progression and extensive training, with an OTE of £40k in the first year, a PDA and mobile phone, and a generous pension and holiday package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Technical experience in engines, electrics and hydraulics.
• IT literate and comfortable with using the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair material handling equipment on customer sites.
• Diagnose faults across pallet trucks, IC trucks, VNA and automated trucks.
• Manage work in progress and complete relevant paperwork accurately.
• Attend regular training to stay up to date with equipment.
• Be an active team player reinforcing the company’s reputation.
