Job summary

Charles Trent Ltd. is seeking a skilled Yard Forklift Driver for our Poole site. You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift to unload lorries, move vehicles around the yard, and locate cars in a 5-car racking system.

The role requires a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, good communication, teamwork, and a commitment to health and safety. Core hours are 47.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 9am–6pm, with benefits including staff discounts and health cover after probation.

Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Charles Trent. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload vehicles and parts within our facilities. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining efficient operations and supporting our commitment to recycling excellence.

Poole Site, BH12

Salary:

£32,110

Working Hours:

47.5 hours per week

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.

Reporting to:

Yard Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloading lorries
• Moving vehicles around site.
• Locating cars in 5 car racking system
• Assisting others to complete daily tasks and processes

Experience & Essential Qualities:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Good Communication Skills
• Be Able to work with a high level of care and accuracy
• Must be Health and Safety conscious
• Must be able work within a team
