Charles Trent Ltd operates as a family-run business and is a leading vehicle recycler with a large-scale European facility. The Yard Forklift Driver role is based at the Poole site (BH12) and offers a salary of £32,110 with a 47.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm.

The role requires a counterbalance forklift licence and a strong safety mindset. As part of the yard team, you will unload lorries, move vehicles around site, and manage vehicle location within the 5-car racking system, while

Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Charles Trent. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload vehicles and parts within our facilities. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining efficient operations and supporting our commitment to recycling excellence.

Poole Site, BH12

Salary:

£32,110

Working Hours:

47.5 hours per week

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.

Reporting to:

Yard Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unloading lorries
• Moving vehicles around site.
• Locating cars in 5 car racking system
• Assisting others to complete daily tasks and processes

Experience & Essential Qualities:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Good Communication Skills
• Be Able to work with a high level of care and accuracy
• Must be Health and Safety conscious
• Must be able work within a team
