Job summary

Gregory Distribution in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. You will load and unload palletised goods from various vehicles, operate the Counterbalance forklift, and use the warehouse system to receive, locate, pick and dispatch goods with care.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and strong organisational skills. Hours are Monday to Friday, 23:00 to 08:30, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Experience in pallet network operations.
• A current Counterbalance forklift license is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload palletised goods from vehicles using Counterbalance forklift.
• Use warehouse system and scanner to receive, locate, pick, and dispatch goods.
• Replenish and consolidate stock as required.
• Maintain general housekeeping and upkeep of warehousing area and equipment.
• Complete relevant paperwork and report defects.

Job description

Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Forklift driver to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading palletised goods from a variety of vehicles, ensure the upkeep of the warehouse is met and complete relevant paperwork ensure processes and procedures are followed.,

• Using a Counterbalance to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles and vans.
• Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
• Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
• General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
• Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects. A current Counterbalance forklift license is not essential.
• Previous experience of working within the pallet network industry.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Solution-driven and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Competitive Salary: £32,760 per annum.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. 23:00hrs to 08:30hrs
