Job summary

HR GO Group in Swanscombe is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy team. The role requires a valid counterbalance licence and hands-on experience with order picking, packing and unloading.

You will help ensure accurate, efficient movement of goods and uphold high housekeeping and safety standards. This is a temporary role with potential for permanent placement after probation, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with overtime opportunities and holiday

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Licence (required).
• Proven experience in order picking, packing and unloading.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and able to lift/move items as required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to move pallets and stock.
• Carry out order picking using manual or RF scanner methods, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Pack goods to company standards for dispatch, including labelling and documentation.
• Unload incoming deliveries and check goods against delivery notes.
• Perform basic stock control and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all health & safety procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as required to meet daily targets.

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This role is ideal for someone with a valid counterbalance licence and hands-on experience in order picking, packing and unloading. You will play a key part in ensuring accurate, efficient movement of goods and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.

Key Responsibilities
