Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable forklift operator to handle counterbalance forklifts in our warehouse and production areas. This temporary role pays £13.25 per hour with a 28 days annual leave entitlement and requires a valid forklift licence.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30, with optional Saturday shifts. You will move goods, support stock rotation, and follow health and safety guidelines in a busy environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move and store heavy goods in our warehouse and production areas.

The job will consist of the below:

• – Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift, particularly in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• – Assisting with inventory control and stock rotation.
• – Following health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• – Performing heavy lifting of items when necessary, with the assistance of lifting aids or manual handling techniques.

Duration: This is a temporary position with ongoing work available

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This role pays at £13.25 per hour, and you may accrue up to 28 days annual leave.We do not offer visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30, with Saturday shifts available should you wish from 09:00 – 16:00.
