Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for a busy Heathfield warehouse. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, assist with loading, stock movement and order preparation, and help maintain safety and efficiency.

Working patterns are Mon-Fri 10:00-20:00 with weekly pay and temp-to-perm opportunities through our East Sussex network; reliable, team-focused candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence/certification
• Right to work in the UK
• Previous experience in a similar role

Forklift Driver Wanted - Consistent Work & Weekly Pay

Location: Heathfield | Shifts: Mon - Fri: 10:00 - 20:00

Job Summary:

We are currently working with our client in Heathfield who are looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver required for a busy warehouse environment. Duties will include operating a forklift safely, loading and unloading deliveries, moving and storing stock, preparing orders for dispatch and assisting with general warehouse duties. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Valid FLT licence/certification appropriate to Counterbalance.
• Supporting smooth warehouse and logistics operations.
• Moving and storing pallets and stock in designated areas.
• Picking and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Checking incoming and outgoing stock for accuracy or damage.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
• Upholding warehouse safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Valid and in date Counterbalance certificate
