Kinaxia Logistics Limited is recruiting a Warehouse Operative with FLT for their site in Colchester. The role involves loading and unloading pallets, checking goods-in, and maintaining a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a valid Forklift licence and at least 2 years of warehouse experience, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and reliability. Onsite parking and uniform provision are included.

Responsibilities

• Complete all consignment paperwork accurately and on time.
• Carry out daily/weekly safety checks on manual handling equipment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping for a clean, safe workplace.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist other departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Load pallets from trucks and off-load incoming goods.
• Review goods-in clipboard and verify items for dispatch.
• Allocate pallets into warehousing racking and complete location documents.

About The Job

• Complete all consignment paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to deliver a world class service;
• Undertake daily/weekly safety checks on the manual handling equipment and work areas, complete any relevant paperwork and deliver to your Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager to ensure the business is fully compliant;
• Operate high standards of general housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy workplace at all times;
• Work in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety regulations to reduce the risk of accidents;
• Assist other departments as and when necessary in order to ensure the smooth running of the business.
• Loading and Off-Loading pallets from trucks
• Off-Loading incoming transports of goods to a warehouse
• Review 'goods-in' clipboard and check collections
• Compare notes/locations to ensure correct items are selected for dispatch
• Unloading of goods being checked into storage
• Allocation of pallets into warehousing racking
• Accurate completion of relevant location documents
• Pallet wrapping

Your Knowledge And Experience

• Valid work permit and Forklift EU/UK Licence
• Experienced Forklift Truck driver
• Be fully able to load/unload trucks of all types proficiently
• 2 years' experience working within a warehouse environment
• Ability to work well under pressure to a tight timescale
• Counterbalance FLT licence
• Warehouse health & Safety procedures
• Stock management software
