Kinaxia Daventry is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Driver to join our night shift warehouse team. You will ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently. This role supports a professional logistics operation where safety and reliability are essential.

Key duties include loading and unloading pallets, checking paperwork, locating items, and maintaining accurate records while working as part of a collaborative team on a night shift.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance).
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Confident loading and unloading a variety of vehicle types.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience using scanning equipment and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles.
• Unloading incoming goods into the warehouse.
• Reviewing goods-in paperwork and checking collections.
• Comparing notes and locations to ensure correct items are dispatched.
• Unloading goods into storage locations.
• Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately.
• Completing warehouse and stock location documentation.
• Wrapping pallets for storage and distribution.
• Maintaining safe working practices and housekeeping.

About the Role

As a Counterbalance Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles

Off-loading incoming goods into the warehouse

Reviewing goods-in paperwork and checking collections

Comparing notes and locations to ensure the correct items are selected for dispatch

Unloading goods into storage locations

Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately

Completing warehouse and stock location documentation

Wrapping pallets ready for storage and distribution

Maintaining safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance)

Previous experience operating a Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment

Confident loading and unloading a variety of vehicle @types

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

Experience using scanning equipment

Good IT literacy skills

Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
