Job summary

Pertemps Bristol Industrial is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for our Clevedon warehouse on a temporary ongoing basis. You will operate a counterbalance forklift safely and perform general warehouse duties to support daily dispatches.

The role requires a valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence and previous forklift experience. Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team are essential attributes.

Qualifications

• Valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence is required.

Responsibilities

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Clevedon, BS21

Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing

Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour

Role: Warehouse & Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team in Clevedon, BS21, on a temporary ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently, as well as carrying out general warehouse duties.

Shift Options

Afternoon/Evening Shift - £17.00 per hour

Monday to Thursday: 14:30 - 00:30

Thursday finish: 00:00

Day Shift - £16.00 per hour

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:15

Friday: 06:00 - 11:30

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading goods
• Moving and storing stock around the warehouse
• Preparing materials and goods for dispatch
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised

Requirements

• Valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence - essential
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience
• Warehouse experience preferred
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have transportation to get there
