Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting a Forklift Counter Balance Driver based at Hortonwood in Telford. The role offers £13.47 per hour on a temporary-to-permanent basis and requires a valid Counterbalance license.

The job runs Monday to Friday with two shifts: 6am–2pm or 10am–6pm. Responsibilities include lifting heavy products, stacking into racking, ensuring safe storage, locating goods for production, conducting quality and inventory checks, and using SAP for stock records.

Qualifications

• Full Forklift Counterbalance License is required.
• Experience as a Counterbalance driver is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within a team.

The Forklift Driver is required to work Monday - Friday two different shifts available 6am - 2pm or 10am - 6pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of a Warehouse & Forklift Driver:

• Lifting products to a significant weight
• Stacking products into racking, using an FLT
• Ensuring all products are stored safely and correctly
• Locating products and preparing them for production
• Conduct quality checks
• Inventory checks
• Maintain accurate stock records using their warehouse management systems (SAP)
• Load, unload and move materials within warehouse

Requirements of a Warehouse & Forklift Driver:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• An eye for detail
• Full Forklift Counterbalance License
• Experience as a Counterbalance driver is essential
